    For the third straight year New Jersey-based internet radio station BlowUpRadio.com will broadcast Giving a Second Chance: Benefit for National Foundation for Transplants. On March 2nd & 3rd, artists will perform live from their own studios which will be broadcast via BlowUpRadio.com’s internet station.   • Mike Five Vs JPeck “Avoid and Evade” (Remix)

    This past July, Mike Five from Light and Lines records, asked people to remix his new single “Avoid and Evade”. I’ve never done a remix but thought it’d be fun challenge. I ended up going for a Beck “Odelay” influenced remix. On Friday he released the single along with 10 remixes by indie artists including mine.   • New Single – Lift

    In September of 2022, BlowUp Radio announced their 15th Songwriter’s Challenge to write and record a song in 2 weeks inspired from an audio prompt. The prompt was audio released by NASA of a Black Hole. Check out these eerie sounds www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioR5np1fmEc Lift by jpeck “Lift” was my submission for the challenge. This might be the first instrumental track that I’ve written. It gave me a chance to experiment with samples, midi, and some effects that I am reluctant to use.   • Come What May” EP released

    In May of 2022 Lights and Lines Records announced that they’d be hosting the “Album Writing Club” a songwriting challenge/contest. The idea was simple. Can you write and record an Album, or an EP, in a month? “Come What May” was my entry for this challenge. Not only was this the first time that I’ve put together an album in 30 days but it is also my first solo album. I started eagerly on May 1st. Almost gave up on the 14th with only 1 song completed.
