This past July, Mike Five from Light and Lines records, asked people to remix his new single “Avoid and Evade”. I’ve never done a remix but thought it’d be fun challenge. I ended up going for a Beck “Odelay” influenced remix. On Friday he released the single along with 10 remixes by indie artists including mine. New Single – Lift
In September of 2022, BlowUp Radio announced their 15th Songwriter’s Challenge to write and record a song in 2 weeks inspired from an audio prompt. Come What May” EP released
In May of 2022 Lights and Lines Records announced that they’d be hosting the “Album Writing Club” a songwriting challenge/contest. The idea was simple. Can you write and record an Album, or an EP, in a month? “Come What May” was my entry for this challenge. Not only was this the first time that I’ve put together an album in 30 days but it is also my first solo album. I started eagerly on May 1st. Almost gave up on the 14th with only 1 song completed.
