Monthly Music Challenge Gold Award Winner

My song “They Lied To Me” is now an award winner! It was written for the Monthly Music Challenge with Cosmic Bos July 2023 “Mother Earth” episode. I haven’t decided yet if the song will be released as a single or as part of a future album, but I shared it below for you to take a listen.

The Story

An astronaut for a private company was talked into going to space for a short stint that’d make him rich. They never told him how many corners they cut. The song takes place as he and his crew realize there is no way to stop the ship from travelling further from home. As they lose more hope they joke about suicide and “One last walk”. Moral of the story: Much like suckers, there is an astronaut born every day.
