Lazy Sundays at the End of the World
I released a new instrumental song “Lazy Sundays at the End of the World”. The title’s a bit longer than I’d like but since the song has no words, it felt right. The song is available of Bandcamp now and will be released to the streaming platforms in a month or so. Lazy Sundays at the End of the World by jpeck On Sunday, I turned off the news. Turned off my phone. And I wrote this song about a lazy Sunday. But in the back of my mind, I still knew the world was burning.

“They’re Calling” March 2025 Winner
They’re Calling, my submission for the Indie Boom March 2025 Song Writing Club won best song. Pretty cool to win 2 months in a row. The theme I picked for this one was “Awakening”. It’s a song about some one going in and out of sleep while in a coma. Ended up recording this as an acoustic song since every time I added an instrument to this it seemed to take away from it. This is a beta version of the song that I hope to polish and release for streaming in the near future but in the meantime you can hear the track here. They're Calling (beta) by jpeck…

“The Way It Is” February 2025 Winner
My song “The Way It Is” won best song the Indie Boom February 2025 Song Writing Club. The song was written and recorded in a month from one of 3 themes. The theme I picked was “Love’s Last Breath”. It’s just a break up song about coming to grips with it being over. The song is not officially released and may change before it finds it’s way to streaming services but you can listen here to the beta version. Lyrics

Mike Five Vs JPeck “Avoid and Evade” (Remix)
This past July, Mike Five from Light and Lines records, asked people to remix his new single “Avoid and Evade”. I’ve never done a remix but thought it’d be fun challenge. I ended up going for a Beck “Odelay” influenced remix. On Friday he released the single along with 10 remixes by indie artists including mine. The prompt was audio released by NASA of a Black Hole. Check out these eerie sounds www.youtube.com/watch?v=ioR5np1fmEc Lift by jpeck “Lift” was my submission for the challenge. This might be the first instrumental track that I’ve written. It gave me a chance to experiment with samples, midi, and some effects that I am reluctant to use. It’s taken me a couple months to get around to releasing the song, but today I decided to just release it and see what happens. The song is currently available…

Cast Your Vote for the Album Writing Club Best Single 2023
I did it again. I wrote and recorded a 4 song EP, "We Stumble On" in the month of May for the Album Writing Club. It was a tough month. Everything that could go wrong, did go wrong. Now I need a little help from my friends, family, and fans (if I have any).

Come What May” EP released
In May of 2022 Lights and Lines Records announced that they’d be hosting the “Album Writing Club” a songwriting challenge/contest. The idea was simple. Can you write and record an Album, or an EP, in a month? “Come What May” was my entry for this challenge. Not only was this the first time that I’ve put together an album in 30 days but it is also my first solo album. I started eagerly on May 1st. Almost gave up on the 14th with only 1 song completed. Recorded vocals in my car in a Target parking lot at 1 am. Misplaced the takes for the final song. Turned in the…
